Ricardo Yanofsky, Week 8 Journal

This week was not exactly a productive week, but a lot of issues with some assets and team coordination were solved.

John, Ryan and I met during the week to discuss and brainstorm the level design, as well as some other things. We addressed the issues with the current greybox and made plans on how to fix it in the coming week. I did not work on it as much as I could have afterwards, but it is my main priority for the week.

Level Design (3 hrs)

The animation on the arms had to be put off again, partially because I’m not sure how much I will need to do if they are to be posed properly. Additionally there were some more issues when importing them into unity which took some time to fix but should now be perfect.

Fixing the arms (3 hrs)

I also finalized and exported the finished store items, making sure they will work properly in the game. I noticed Joe’s models tend to look misproportioned or have unnecessary polygons, so I had to fix them as well. I also worked with him personally to help improve the future quality of his models. Additionally I modeled 6 items myself.
